The Nitty-Gritty of MRT3 Rehabilitation and Development #PublishingArticles

During the resumption of a public hearing on the problems plaguing the Metro Rail Transit (MRT3), would you believe that the DOTC Secretary Jun Abaya answered truthfully before the Senate?

This MRT3 issue was among the chaotic management done by the Pnoy Administration and prolonging the development makes the Filipino people to doubt the on-going rehabilitation program. The budget for MRT3 system had been given but the way it tackled the present situation could not give any solution at all. Come to think that the contracts before are marred by MRT3 personnel given to the DOTC Secretary to solve it. Now he’s in control of his decision to give what his scheduled action for this issue.

What the commuters are expecting denies the truth all along; from getting the maintenance provider up to the failed bidding? Then, taking the services of multiple-maintenance-providers to augment his planned desires?

Importantly, Senator Grace Poe thinks that the DOTC Secretary must be replaced by some experts in train system and development. Likewise, leftists too, wants Jun Abaya to go but doubting that the President will follow suit. Remember, that Mr. Jun Abaya is the President of the Liberal Party who supports Mar Roxas in the 2016 election. Moreover, the President’s Daang Matuwid will always supports the Administration bet for the highest position in the Philippines.

The negatives about Jun Abaya; his mismanagement of the country’s roads, ports, airports and trains is bordering on “criminal negligence; his atrocious performance was not surprising as he was more focused on cooking up deals for “favored players” rather than addressing the mounting complaints from commuters but the President would stick to the DOTC Secretary until the end of his term.

Surprisingly enough to some ordinary Filipinos; the MRT3 issues still haunting other political parties but never have the courage to resume their finding. It only prolonged the consistencies done by the present administration through the DOTC Secretary, who holds the negative in the eyes of the people. But still the Pnoy administration wanted Jun Abaya to continue what’s left behind until the end of his term.

Even the MRT 3 General Manager Roman Buenafe said, “The first round of bidding for elevators conducted three weeks ago failed, citing the “eligibility of documents submitted by two suppliers. The bidding for escalators, on the other hand, is already undergoing “pre-procurement.” It confirms the idea of some political critics that the DOTC Secretary’s playing the game of “delaying tactics?”

Would you believe, he admits failure to improve the MRT3 sorry state? But reasoned out that the failure in procurement has to do with the delay? Failed bidding of course!
